Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Join Disney Princesses for Storybook Dining inside a medieval castle with soaring archways and cathedral ceilings. This princess dining experience is my favorite in all of Disney World! It is here that girls imaginations transform and are able to meet many princesses in one place! The princesses will come around and meet with each table individually and sign autograph books while posing for photos if you wish. The princesses will guide children into a princess parade about halfway through mealtime – its adorable! Be sure to get your little princess dressed in her favorite princess dress for this event! Upon arriving at the royal hall, you may

pose under the white stone archways for a complimentary portrait with a Disney Princess. Complimentary photo keepsakes are delivered right to your table as you dine on sumptuous fare and meet more Disney Princesses. The hostess of this dining event is usually Belle and she is dressed in her evening yellow gown! Beautiful! As a complimentary gift from the princesses, you will receive: One Professional Photo Package, for groups of 4 Guests ;2 Professional Photo Packages, for groups of 5 to 8 Guests; 3 Professional Photo Packages, for groups of 9 to 12 Guests. Each Photo Package includes: One 6″ x 8″ and four 4″ x 6″ prints and a beautifully themed photo holder. All who attend the royal banquet can expect to meet several of the following Disney Characters:

Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, & Ariel

Start the day with American breakfast favorites served family-style, and enjoy Norwegian fare for lunch and dinner. Breakfast may include such selections as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato casserole, biscuits, cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit.

At lunch and dinner, a Norwegian buffet (koldtbord) of cold dishes features salads, meats and cheeses, while hot entrées are served à la carte. The rotating menu may include seared herb-dusted beef tips, oven-roasted chicken breast and a special Scandinavian meatball dish made of pork, beef and capers called kjottkaker.

Children’s menu options include such familiar offerings as pizza, pasta, hot dogs and grilled chicken. Be sure to save room for The Royal Chef’s Dessert Plate—a platter of 3 delectable desserts served family-style for the perfect ending to your feast.
