“To all that come to this happy place: welcome.” It kind of sticks with you, well at least it sticks with me. Walt Disney could not have said it any better. For me and my family it truly is the happiest place on earth.
I’m Gundi and I live in Houston, TX with my husband, Steve. We have two grown children, Julian and Kayla. Both kids are in college now but have grown up going to see the mouse. Boy oh boy, do we all love the mouse… we make it a point to visit a Disney Destination at least once each year. My family has been to Disney parks over 15 times in the last 10 years. We have taken weekend trips up to week long visits, staying on Disney property and at the Good Neighbor hotels.
Each time we visit we stay at a different property to gain a new perspective and enjoy more of the magic that only Disney can offer. Each resort has its own unique kind of magic and enchantment.
Some days we would take a break from the parks and just lose ourselves in all that the resort has to offer.My background is in education, I worked as a school teacher and as a school director until August of 2012 when I left my job to focus more on Disney. I spent the following year doing research and studying all things Disney. To say I’m hooked on the mouse is no joke. I am a Disney fanatic!!! Before coming to Wish Upon a Star with Us, I of course planned our travel, but also planned family travel, friends travel and friends of friends travel. My biggest challenge was planning our large extended family trip for more than 25 people… Such fun!!! I truly love a challenge.

If you need ideas of what to do each day, I can include itineraries, if you want the most romantic dining locale, I can help you with that, if you are on a tight budget and are looking for the least expensive places to eat, I can do that too. If you want to know where the best view of the fireworks are, which rides are right for which rider, how to navigate the parks to get the most bang for your buck and more… I can definitely be your eyes and ears to all that will make your Disney trip truly magical!!!
