New Disney Magic

New Disney Magic

Disney Cruise Line has always set sail on creativity, innovation and unexpected surprises that delight kids, adults and families alike. Now, Disney Magic is even more magical, with new spaces and new enhancements from stem to stern, making this ship of dreams come true even more magical for all who come aboard.

In the all-new Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids enter the top secret S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters and become members of the Avengers team inside the high-tech MARVEL’s Avengers Academy. Iron Man’s suit, Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield all await you in a space that puts you inside the Avengers’ super cool heli-carrier!

Kids are also invited to play in Andy’s Room, much as it appeared in the Disney•Pixar hit Toy Story. Here in this larger-than-life playroom, there’s fun with Hamm, Mr. Potato Head and even a Slinky Dog slide. Disney’s Oceaneer Club enhancements include Mickey Mouse Club, where kids play games with Mickey, Minnie and pals; and Pixie Hollow, where they’ll explore Tinker Bell’s pixie world.

For the thrill-seekers in the family, there are two new slides on deck – the new AquaDunk, a breathtaking waterslide that begins with a near-vertical drop and then loops riders out over the water and back, and Twist ‘n’ Spout that loops riders to a watery splashdown. Also new, kids can conduct water experiments designed by Huey, Dewey and Louie in the AquaLab pool and infants and toddlers will love Nephews’ Splash Zone, a bubbly water playground.

This much fun will make anyone hungry – so come discover an all-new experience in family dining at Carioca’s. Celebrating the South American settings showcased in the classic Disney film The Three Caballeros, this eye-popping restaurant features a Brazilian marketplace-themed entryway and floor patterns reminiscent of the beach sidewalks of Rio.

Adult-only spaces are an important part of every Disney Cruise Line ship. On the Disney Magic, an all-new entertainment district called After Hours will entertain adults with music, dancing and entertainment. Three clubs including O’Gill’s sports bar, Keys piano bar and Fathoms, the brand-new hotspot everyone will be talking about, are sure to entertain! Plus, adults savor the dining experience in Palo, an adult-exclusive experience.

Guests who want to experience these exciting new enhancements will have plenty of amazing itineraries—and ports—to choose from. Be among the first to sail on the enhanced Disney Magic, embarking from Miami, Florida through December 2013. From January through May 2014, Disney Magic will sail 3- and 4-night itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida – just a short drive from Walt Disney World® Resort. Then, during the summer, itineraries include European voyages from Barcelona, Spain and Venice, Italy.
