Dining is an exciting component of your Walt Disney World vacation! From more casual grab-and-go options and delicious snacks, to enchanting character dining and signature fine dining experiences, Walt Disney World really has something for everyone. Your Wish Upon a Star with Us Vacation Planner can help you navigate your vacation plans, including assisting with making recommendations that will suit your family and helping you reserve your dining reservations.
Advance dining reservations are strongly encouraged for table service restaurants (sit down restaurants with a server). Reservations can be made inside your My Disney Experience account 60 days in advance starting at 6:00 AM EST. Quick service restaurants (quicker, counter service options) are also available and do not require reservations. Most quick service restaurants also offer Mobile Order for added convenience.
DINING PLANS
During the phased reopening of Walt Disney World, all Dining Plans remain temporarily suspended and cannot be added to your Vacation Package. While Disney has confirmed that Dining Plans will be returning, an exact date has not yet been announced. When the official return date is announced, a Dining Plan can be added to existing reservations at that time.
Disney Dining Plans are options available exclusively to Guests with a Vacation Package at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
How Disney Dining Plans Work:
- When planning your vacation, have your Wish Upon a Star with Us Vacation Planner book you a Vacation Package that includes a Disney Dining Plan.
- Choose from over 100 restaurants and make reservations prior to your trip aligned with the number of table service meals included in your chosen Dining Plan.
- Use your MagicBand or key card to “pay” for your meal using your meal credits. It will electronically monitor your party’s allocated meals.
- Track your meals with the easy-to-read receipt your server will provide you, which displays your remaining meal balance.
- Redeem your meals in any order throughout your vacation until each person’s meal total is complete.
- Gratuities are not included unless otherwise indicated. An automatic 18% gratuity charge will be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more.

Many Disney table-service restaurants are quite popular and book quickly, so we highly recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible. Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance inside your My Disney Experience account.
