Walt Disney World Park Tickets

Park Ticket Options

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World, but overwhelmed with all the choices? Disney lets you customize your Vacation Package to meet the needs of your family! One way they do that is by allowing you to choose what type of tickets you want. Different ticket options allow you to visit multiple theme parks in the same day, include extra fun outside the parks (like admission to Disney’s two water parks) or help you save time waiting in line by adding Disney Genie+ to your ticket.

Disney Genie+

Another way you can customize any of the below ticket options is by adding the Disney Genie+ option! Disney Genie+ allows you to use the My Disney Experience app to select arrival windows to use the Lightning Lane at more than 40 attractions across Walt Disney World. This saves you time waiting in line and helps you make the most of your day!

STANDARD THEME PARK TICKET

With the standard theme park ticket, also called a ‘Base’ ticket, guests receive entrance to one theme park per day (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom) for each day of your ticket. Admission to one theme park is allowed per day – where you start the morning is where you play all day! With this type of ticket you can visit a different park each day and you can re-enter the same park multiple times in the same day, however you cannot visit multiple parks in the same day. These tickets can be purchased for a length of 1-10 days. When purchased on their own (not as part of a vacation package), the price of the ticket will vary slightly by season and day of the week. Base tickets are the perfect option for families that want to remain in the same park all day!

TICKET WITH PARK HOPPER OPTION:

For an additional cost, you can add the Park Hopper option to your ticket. This allows you to change theme parks mid-day to make the most of your time at Walt Disney World. You can ‘hop’ between the 4 main theme parks on any or all of the days that are on the ticket. This is a great option for guests that like to ‘open and close’ the parks. You can start your day in one park, then finish your day in another. See the animals at Animal Kingdom early in the day when they’re more active, then ‘hop’ over to Epcot for dinner and explore World Showcase. Or, start the day at Hollywood Studios, then ‘hop’ over to Magic Kingdom to see the Disney Enchantment Fireworks show over the castle. This option is perfect for guests who want to visit all 4 parks but don’t have 4 days of tickets, or for guests who want to have the flexibility to ‘hop’ around the Walt Disney World parks freely throughout the day.

TICKET WITH WATER PARK AND SPORTS OPTION:

The Water Park and Sports option is another way you can upgrade your Base ticket.  This ticket includes admission to other attractions outside the 4 theme parks. The number of visits is determined by the number of days on your Base ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. According to that number, you’re allowed to choose among the following admissions (1 visit per admission)–

  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park*
  • NBA Experience
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – Footgolf
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf course (before 4:00 p.m.)
  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf course (before 4:00 p.m.)

These visits don’t need to be used on the same day as your Theme Park admission, and you can use them in any order throughout your trip. So on Sunday, you could spend the entire day at Hollywood Studios (Theme Park); then on Monday you could visit Blizzard Beach for the day (Water Park and Sports admission).

*Please note that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed and does not yet have a reopening date.

TICKET WITH PARK HOPPER PLUS OPTION:

The Park Hopper Plus combines the added benefits of the Park Hopper ticket and the Water Park and Sports option. This ticket allows you to visit multiple theme parks in the same day, then also includes entrances to other Disney attractions outside the theme parks. As with the Water Park and Sports option, the number of visits is determined by the number of days on your ticket. According to that number, you’re allowed to choose among the following admissions (1 visit per admission) –

  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
  • NBA Experience
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – Footgolf
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf course (before 4:00 p.m.)
  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf course (before 4:00 p.m.)

These visits don’t need to be used on the same day as your Theme Park admission, and you can use them in any order throughout your trip. So on Sunday, you could spend the day at one or more of the theme parks (remember, you can visit multiple since you have the Park Hopper Option); then on Monday you could visit Blizzard Beach for the day (Park Hopper Plus admission).
