Wish Upon a Star with Us is a family-owned and operated Travel Agency that has been in business since 2009, providing our clients with magical memories and unparalleled customer service. Over the past decade, we have grown to a team of over 100 agents located in 20+ states across the United States. Our company is a Gold Earmarked Authorized Disney Vacation Planner Agency, a U-Preferred Platinum Universal Partner and an Emerald Elite Member with ALGV. While our Vacation Planners book many different destinations around the world, these suppliers are what many of our new Vacation Planners focus on as they start their business.

What is the application process like with Wish Upon a Star with Us?
Wish Upon a Star with Us Travel has some of the highest standards in the travel business because we believe in our brand and want each new applicant to share our drive, passion and view on the clients we serve. Our application process is designed to verify each agent applying to our team will carry out our company’s values with the traveling families they will assist. Applicants will be evaluated on many different levels throughout the hiring process. Our initial application is designed to gather information and see basic applicant qualifications, as well as review your resume.
We may follow up with more questions before moving on to the phone interviews with someone from our hiring team. All candidates will also undergo a background check. A final interview session session is then scheduled with the owner for contract information and final hiring details.
What to Expect as Part of Our Team:
Wish Upon a Star with Us Vacation Planners are independent contractors. Each Vacation Planner is responsible for their own operating costs, marketing, and client base. It is fully expected that all meet and exceed our company’s highs standards of customer service as you work under the Wish Upon a Star with Us brand. The independent contractor Vacation Planner role is a fully commission-based position.

Wish Upon a Star with Us has many optional training opportunities throughout the year. Some will be based at our main office in Southern Illinois while others will take place at popular destinations such as Walt Disney World/Disneyland, Universal or on cruises. We believe strongly in setting up our new Vacation Planners right from the beginning with the tools and resources they need to succeed in this competitive field. Upon hire, you will be provided with a Wish Upon a Star With Us email, business cards, initial training, a mentor, a Vacation Creations account (CRM for managing client data) and more.
