Disney’s The Beach Club Villas

Disney’s Beach Club is a beautiful, Deluxe property located on the shores of Crescent Lake. The Beach Club Villas is a free-standing addition to this resort that has the Villa units that can accommodate larger families. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after a day at the parks with it’s sleepy, seashore style that will put you in mind of New England in the early 1900’s. Located adjacent to Epcot Center’s International Gateway, the entrance to The World Showcase, you will find yourself entering Epcot right between Britain and France. If you’ve ever been among the throngs of people headed back to the parking lot, or waiting for the bus or Monorail back to your room after enjoying Illuminations at Epcot, you’ll truly appreciate the short stroll back to The Beach Club when the show is over. You could be listening to your jukebox favorites while sipping on an ice cream soda at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop instead of waiting in a long line to get back to your resort. Maybe a cocktail is more your style. Then head over to Martha’s Vineyard and enjoy a glass of wine, a signature cocktail or a cold beer. In the morning, enjoy a breakfast buffet with Goofy and his friends at Cape May Cafe or come back in the evening for an all-you-care-to-eat seafood buffet (no characters in the evening). More in the mood for an a la carte breakfast in the morning, or steak or chops later in the day? Then the Captain’s Grill is right up your alley. Signature dining is available right next door at The Yacht Club Resort, in the Yachtsman Steakhouse. There you can watch the chef in the open kitchen prepare your perfectly sizzled steak, made from grain-fed beef; a delicious, free-range chicken dish or a specially prepared lamb dish while you sip on an award-winning glass of wine.

Besides location, location, location, the Beach Club is a favorite of many Disney guests because of the water park-like pool at Stormalong Bay that this resort shares with The Yacht Club. Relax the day away in a circular lazy river, imagine yourself in a tropical paradise while you listen to the water splash-down by one of the waterfalls, feel like a kid again on the deck of a Pirate ship with a quick return back to the pool via waterslide, or just enjoy the Florida sunshine on the elevated tanning deck. Does all this fresh ‘sea’ air make you work up an appetite? Grab a hamburger and french fries with a frosty frozen drink at Hurricane Hanna’s Grill, a poolside counter-service restaurant and bar.

Most of the rooms are made for larger families. They do offer Deluxe Studio rooms that sleep 4 guests, a 1 bedroom villa that also sleeps four guests, a 2-bedroom villa that sleeps 8 guests and Grand Villas that sleep 12. Except for the Deluxe Studio rooms, all of the Villas have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and many of the amenities you would find at home. Along with the walkway over to Epcot, Water-taxi transportation is also provided both to Epcot and to Hollywood Studios with bus transportation provided to all other areas on Disney property.
