Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Cabana Bay Beach Resort has been recognized by USA Today as the #2 theme-park hotel in the world! This resort is themed after the classic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s. The retro theme is evident in every aspect of the hotel’s architecture and decor, from the room designs to the cool, classic cars out front. Meanwhile, the onsite amenities offer everything from a bowling alley to a water slide and lazy river. With so much to do, this resort is almost a destination in itself.

Standard Rooms can accommodate 4 guests in 2 Queen Beds. The Family Suites at this resort are a great option for families of up to 6. They include 2 Queen Beds and a pull-out sofa, a compartmentalized bathroom and a kitchenette. Some of the family suites have exterior entries (mimicking the beach motels of the 50s and 60s on which the resort is based), while others have interior hallways. This impressive resort has so much to offer and is a popular choice for many families.

Volcano Bay is located adjacent to the resort for easy access. Shuttle buses are available to transport you to CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure approximately every 10-15 minutes. A walking path is also available (it will take approximately 25-30 minutes to reach CityWalk).
