Disney’s Beach Club is a beautiful, Deluxe property located on the shores of Crescent Lake. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after a day at the parks with it’s sleepy, seashore style that will put you in mind of New England in the early 1900’s. It’s located adjacent to EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance, which puts you right into the World Showcase in EPCOT right between the United Kingdom and France. This convenient entrance allows you to easily walk right into EPCOT, or walk out after the nightly fireworks and be right back at your resort!
At Beach Club Resort, you can listen to your jukebox favorites while sipping on an ice cream soda at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. If a cocktail is more your style, then head over to Martha’s Vineyard and enjoy a glass of wine, a signature cocktail or a cold beer. In the morning, enjoy a breakfast buffet with Minnie and her friends at Cape May Cafe or come back in the evening for an all-you-care-to-eat seafood buffet (no characters in the evening). More in the mood for an a la carte breakfast in the morning, or steak or chops later in the day? Then the Captain’s Grill is right up your alley. Signature dining is available right next door at Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club Resort. There you can watch the chef in the open kitchen prepare your perfectly sizzled steak, made from grain-fed beef; a delicious, free-range chicken dish or a specially prepared lamb dish while you sip on an award-winning glass of wine.
Besides location, the Beach Club is a favorite of many Disney guests because of the water park-like pool at Stormalong Bay that this resort shares with the Yacht Club. Relax the day away in a circular lazy river, imagine yourself in a tropical paradise while you listen to the water splash-down by one of the waterfalls, feel like a kid again on the deck of a Pirate ship with a quick return back to the pool via waterslide, or just enjoy the Florida sunshine on the elevated tanning deck. Does all this fresh ‘sea’ air make you work up an appetite? Grab a hamburger and french fries with a frosty frozen drink at Hurricane Hanna’s Grill, a poolside counter-service restaurant and bar.
The offerings are endless at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. With 576 guest rooms; from a standard room facing a garden to a concierge level room overlooking the lake, you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your family. Most of the rooms have 2 queen beds and a day bed to comfortably fit a family of 5. Along with the walkway over to EPCOT, Water-taxi transportation is also provided both to EPCOT and to Hollywood Studios. You can also take the Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios from the EPCOT station. Bus transportation is provided to all other areas on Disney property.
