Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a Southwest-themed Disney Moderate Resort hotel that combines elements of colonial Spain, Mexico and New Mexico. It circles around Lago Dorado—a glimmering 22-acre lake. The brightly colored Spanish-style Guest rooms are separated into three distinctly themed areas around Lago Dorado. The Casitas offer an urban terra-cotta paradise. The rustic Ranchos resemble charming Southwestern pueblos. The Cabanas provide a quaint beachfront retreat complete with cozy hammocks. Most rooms have either two queen-size beds or one king-size bed, however, there are also one bedroom suites available in the Casitas which sleep up to six. They have a master bedroom with two queen-size beds (or one king bed) and a bathroom, a parlor with a queen-size sleeper sofa and another bathroom. Preferred Rooms are a great option for those who want to be closer to the main shopping, dining and transportation areas. Additionally, in the new Gran Destino Tower, rooms have either two queen beds or one king bed. Club Level rooms are also available in the tower, which give guests access to the Chronos Club.

The Mayan pyramid themed Dig Site features a large pool with a 123 foot Jaguar Pool slide. The 22-person hot tub is one of the largest at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. There are three other heated pools on the property, a health club, fishing, an arcade and recreational activities including outdoor Disney movies.

The resort offers 220,000 square feet of flexible function space for conventions and meetings, located near the Casitas. There are four bus stops also located around the resort, one at each of the themed areas and at El Centro, which houses Panchitos (shopping), El Mercado de Coronado food court, Cafe Rix, Maya Grill and Rix Sports Bar and Grill. In the center of the lake, where the three bridges intersect, is Three Bridges bar and Grill. Check-in, concierge, bell services and Barcelona Lounge are located in the main lobby of Gran Destino Tower. On the 16th floor of the Tower, Dahlia Lounge and Toledo (a tapas, steak and seafood restaurant) offers an intimate rooftop dining experience with sweeping views.
